Enhance Default Prompts on the Welcome Screen

Description:

The default prompts displayed on the welcome screen are currently rudimentary. Enhancing these prompts and adding more diverse examples can improve the user experience and guide users towards more effective use of c4's capabilities. This can also alleviate some of the immediate pressure to develop a full-fledged prompt library.

Goal:

Improve the quality and variety of default prompts displayed on the c4 welcome screen.

Approach:

• Exploration: Identify and gather a collection of useful and well-designed prompts for various tasks. These prompts should be more comprehensive and provide better results than the current default prompts.
• Define Sub-Issues:
  • Update the existing default prompts with improved versions.
  • Add new default prompts for common use cases, such as:
    • Summarizing PDFs (with structured output and relevant notes)
    • Composing emails in a specific style (e.g., CC style, adhering to internal guidelines)
    • Simplifying text (similar to Grammarly)
    • Searching for success stories within available data

Acceptance Criteria:

• The default prompts on the welcome screen are more comprehensive, user-friendly, and effective.
• A variety of default prompts are available, covering common use cases and demonstrating c4's capabilities.

Well, currently there are no default prompts displayed at all in a fresh installation. It seems like this is more of a task to refine the configuration of a specific deployment.
