Feature request - Raw XML edit

Hi,
An option that would be really nice would be an option to edit the xml manually in the same way as in virsh edit , such that it will validate the XML on edit. A nice to have would be the ability to collapse the DOM but just a simple text box with the XML will do as an initial version.
This will then allow for advanced changes such as adding VNC without removing the spice options. Or other such changes which there are no GUI options yet.

Cockpit is meant to be a user friendly UI for in this case libvirt, adding a full blown xml editor wouldn't fit that role in my opinion.

Cockpit is not supposed to remove spice when adding vnc. Does this happen to you?

In general, I would say that virt-xml is the better choice compared to virsh edit, and we should tell people about its existence and encourage them to learn it instead of learning the libvirt domain XML.

I 100% support this.

There are some features and specific configurations that can't be integrated easily with a UI or a framework.

And generally speaking, Cockpit users are in the most cases Sysadmins.

This could be added as an "Advanced" mode for every virtual machine.

This would save us time connecting to a terminal and manually editing with virsh.
