Two questions

Just today installed durdraw and I can just say it's great!

So far I have only one question and that is

1. Is there a way to switch off background coloring in 256 color mode? It's not pure black instead some grayish what makes for a funny effect.

Is the black in your terminal's base 16 color scheme set to something other than #000000? I believe the background is always color 0 (the color in the very top left of the 256 color picker), which would be consistent with black in 16 color mode but not necessarily in 256. You can make the background black by first picking black in the color picker, then selecting the whole canvas (shift+arrows, enter. You can make this easier by using home, end, page up, and page down to instantly move the cursor to the corners of the canvas.) and then pressing l to color the selection. Alternatively, with the cursor on an empty cell, you could press alt+shift+l (alt+L) to initiate a color replace, then choose black.

@AdrianGroty You were right the problem was terminals base color scheme set to something other than black though it appeared black..?🤷🏻 Well it worked 👾
