ESM support

Hey! Nice plugin!

I have a question about ESM. Do you have plans to support it? Right now requireUp expects CommonJS with require statement. ESLint supports ESM already, so more people are trying to use ESM in their projects.

In an ESM project, I got it working by using using tsx https://www.npmjs.com/package/tsx/v/4.0.0

eslint-local-rules.cjs
eslint-local-rules/index.ts
eslint-local-rules/sort-function-argument-props.ts
eslint-local-rules/collapse-single-object-argument.ts
... your rules as .ts

And

// eslint-local-rules.cjs
require('tsx/cjs');

module.exports = require('./eslint-local-rules').default;

// eslint-local-rules/index.ts

// import your rules
import collapseSingleObjectArgument from './collapse-single-object-argument';
import sortFunctionArgumentProps from './sort-function-argument-props';

// export your rules as default
export default {
  'collapse-single-object-argument': collapseSingleObjectArgument,
  'sort-function-argument-props': sortFunctionArgumentProps,
};

Notice the .cjs extension. You have to run this plugin as cjs.

You solved it by using CommonJS; that's why I was asking about ESM 🙂 Anyway, this plugin isn't really needed in ESLint v9+, just follow the official guide for creating custom rules.
