Is it possible to hide stdout when aligning?

When running this library the stdout looks similar to the following:

ARG=i
ARG=v
ARG=d
ARG=o
INITIAL PASS
.................................................. [50000]
.................................................. [100000]
.................................................. [150000]
.................................................. [200000]
expected target length = source length * 3.7347

Is there an option to hide this?
