Workshop Description

CISA’s Cybersecurity Division (CSD) invites you to join Malcolm’s Orientation Overview, a virtual training offered to provide introductory knowledge of the Malcolm tool suite. In the past, the Malcolm Orientation Overview targeted critical infrastructure owners and operators at State, Local, Tribal, and Territorial (SLTT) levels and internal CISA staff who offer cyber security and operational technology assistance. For this event, other interested members of the public are also invited to attend.

The purpose of this overview is to equip participants with foundational knowledge about the capabilities of Malcolm, an open-source network traffic analysis tool suite for network security monitoring, to enable them to use and effectively advocate for Malcolm to asset owners.

• CISA CSD CI Pilot Program
• Malcolm
  • Malcolm's three primary components
    • Dashboards
    • Arkime
    • NetBox
  • Resources for users
  • Malcolm cyber threat intelligence (CTI) pilot (limited availability for some eligible critical infrastructure entities)
