Supported systems

Windows 7 and newer

TweetDuck is primarily developed and tested on Windows 7. Due to time constraints, the program cannot be thoroughly tested on every single configuration, so please report any issues you find.

Windows XP & Vista

Starting from version 1.4, TweetDuck only supports at least Windows 7 and requires .NET Framework 4.5 or newer. This is due both Google and Microsoft dropping support for the older versions of frameworks TweetDuck requires to function.

The 1.3 branch will no longer receive any updates and the automatic update system will not run on these systems. All older versions of TweetDuck are still available, but please do not create any new issue reports if you are using outdated versions of the program.

Linux, Mac

There are plans to develop TweetDuck for Linux and Mac using the Mono Runtime, but don't expect it to be ready for a long time because the program needs to be partially rewritten as some of the currently used libraries only support Windows.
