Purpose/Utility

Hello!
So I was curious was the actual purpose of this plugin was and how this would be useful in the Sponge environment.

From the looks of it, it's merely an economy API, but Sponge provides its own EconomyAPI.
Does this add functionality that's missing, or is there other features planned alongside Monument that would set it apart?

I found sponge's economy API extremely difficult to implement for some reason, so I just ported classes from Vault to Sponge. Monument was created for me to make it simpler to implement economy, but I'll be happy to add new functionality.
