Can Chart.js export charts to excel?

No not natively, you can only get the base64 encoded string of the chart as a PNG image so you would need to convert it yourself to pdf or anything else you want

Because afaik Excel does not have html canvas support, which is the surface chart.js can draw to, you need to first convert to png and then you can probably attach that to Excel or pdf.

You can use the toBase64Image method that you can call on the chart. This will give you a base64 encoded PNG file by default.
