Line Graph Disappears After Render

Hello
I am using Chart.js line graph and while I have others on the page that work fine - this one line graph goes blank intermittently - often within a split second of rendering. You can sometimes see it flash the first part of the animation on the screen and then the entire chart disappears.
I've tried it in version 2.x and also 3.5.0 - same thing.

I am pulling 120 data points and plotting them on 2 lines on the same graph.

Sometimes works perfectly, then a few refreshes later it is blank...
