Animation for Adding Data to Align with the Nearest Point

Right now, when adding data to the chart, the new data initially appears at y=0 and then moves accordingly.

Is it possible to accomplish:
When adding data at the to the chart, the new data point should seamlessly align with the nearest point and then moves accordingly.
