pointStyle = image results in blurry upscaled image

The image I'm setting as the pointStyle is this image:

But the image is being upscaled and is blurry on the chart when I set pointStyle to that image

Hi @johnsturgeon ,

Canvas by default uses pixels and is not dynamic as far as I know, especially with images. Try to get the largest size you need for the image to be uploaded and then reduce size, this video might help: https://youtu.be/lfHwnIk-JY8 .

Thanks, that got me on the right track, I was able to set the initial image size which helped, but I noticed that the 'resize' algorithm by Javascript wasn't the best, so I started playing around with a combination of good 'initial' size, plus setting the Javascript initial image size, and what I realized is that the canvas is 2pixels/point so.. retina resolution, I need to make an icon that's 40x40 and fit it into a 20x20 Image, and that worked GREAT
