Not able to reduce the bar distance

How to reduce the bar distance without increasing the thickness of the bar ??

You could play around with barPercentage and categoryPercentage. The way they work is nicely described here. You could also set maxBarThickness so it wouldn't go above a certain width but it would potentially make the chart less responsive.

I don't want to change barPercentage and categoryPercentage but at the same time want to reduce bar distance. Is it possible ??

Make the chart smaller? I'm sure I don't understand what you want, can you draw an example?

Its in the image above. I want to reduce the distance of the bars without reducing the bar thickness

Put it another way, where would you like that reduced space to go?

Only option I can think of is above and below the chart, which can be achieved by padding or reducing canvas height (or changing aspectRatio)
