Scale options are scriptable?

I recognized today that some axis options are scritable even if:

1. they are not documented
2. there are not defined in the types as scriptable (but maybe I'm wrong here not being an expert)

Two examples: min and max.

I don't know if this is a missing doc or if this is wanted.
