GrimoireLab 1.6.0 available!

We're pleased to announce the release of GrimoireLab 1.6.0! This update brings a variety of improvements across several components, including new features, bug fixes, and dependency updates.

Features

• Less intrusive main identity indicator: The star icon denoting the main identity is replaced with a more subtle indicator for improved user experience.
• Redirect after login: Users are now redirected to the originally requested page after successful login.
• Merge organizations on alias add: Merging organizations with matching aliases is now possible during the "Edit Organization" process.
• Customizable match by username trusted sources: Define trusted data sources for username matching within the configuration settings.
• User permission migration: User permissions are migrated to a separate database table during upgrade.
• Status field in SUMO enriched index: The status (solved, archived, locked, or open) is now included in the SUMO backend for enriched data.

Bug Fixes

• Avoid Undefined Values: Missing author field values (previously displayed as "-- UNDEFINED --") are now avoided during enrichment or autorefresh actions in case of connection loss between Mordred and SortingHat.
• Fixed Workspace after Identity Split: The workspace is now automatically updated to reflect changes when splitting identities.

Other Component Updates:

• Python 3.8 Deprecation: Python 3.8 has reached its end-of-life in October 2024. GrimoireLab now requires Python 3.9 or later for all components.
