GrimoireLab 1.5.0 available!

We're excited to announce the release of GrimoireLab version 1.5.0! This update includes new features, bug fixes, and performance improvements across several components.

Features

• Remove merge recommendations: You can now delete all merge recommendations directly, making it easier to manage a large number of recommendations.
• Merge organizations with aliases: When adding an alias to an organization, you can now merge it if it matches an existing organization.
• User permissions per tenant: The permissions system now allows assigning specific permissions based on the tenant, enhancing multi-tenant management. The command sortinghat-admin set-group has been updated to sortinghat-admin set-permissions.

Bug Fixes

• Duplicate GitHub links: Resolved an issue where multiple GitHub links appeared in SortingHat for a single profile when multiple identities were present.
• Connection issue during job execution: Ensured the database connection is properly closed before a job fork ends, preventing Aborted connection to db warnings.
• Git tags deletion: Perceval now correctly deletes tags locally when removed upstream.
• Git branches study: The branches field in the Git branches study now updates correctly only after the study is completed, preventing inaccurate data from being shown on the dashboard.

Performance

• Reduced the number of connections to the SortingHat server from Mordred, preventing queue overflows and improving overall performance.
