Stumbled onto this tool a couple months ago. And, I'm totally hooked. This thing is incredible. And, bonus, I love typing 'just' at the terminal followed by something concise and/or snarky and have it actually perform something meaningful. Brightens my day.
I don't agree with the shebang recipes feature. I personally feel like that feature while cool, will be a bottomless pit of bugs in the future. Other than that , eeeeeverything else is totally awesome.

Right now I'm using it to make running my Bats-Core test commands, including bashcov, require far less typing to kick them off.

I couldn't quite get the built in auto-complete to be loaded in my system. So now each of my code repos just have this script:

these are the two commands that this scipt will help provide tab completion for.
This script will *not* have to be sourced again if you change the .justfile, or if you add a new module to the .justfile.

comment

# adds all the recipes in the .justfile to be available for tab completion in bash.
# also works for the just modules. so you can do `just modulename::<TAB>` to see the recipes in that module. just like you would see in `just --list modulename`.

# one "gotcha" ... the tab completion will show nothing if one of your just files is causing just to error out. And you won't see any error. Just a blank void of nothing as you press tab.

And I just source it with source justadd<PRESS TAB HERE> , and boom, I can tab complete all my .justfile recipes. And even the .just modules!! Works perfect for me in bash shell.
after sourcing the above script I then type: just<TAB> and all my recipes and modules are right there listed. And the file path completion continues to work while I'm using the tab completion in the just command. Beauty!

This is such a marvelous framework! Love that it's incredibly easy to write recipes. Props for not going the route of yaml, or xml.
I truly hope this project lasts another 10 years and beyond. Congrats!
