just grill: enforcing good set of checks in Python with just (pytest, mypy, ruff, isort, black) + format markdown

just tool and its creator @casey have been very friendly to a new developper, just enables experimantation and allows you to be productive. I'm developping several projects in Python and wanted to share a command I'm using to finalise project checks, using rather modern tools such as ruff.

# Run pytest (up to first error)

  poetry run pytest -x

# Type check
mypy:
  poetry run mypy {{ package }}

# Run isort (black-compatible and float imports to top)
isort:
  poetry run isort --profile black --float-to-top .

# Run black
black:  
  poetry run black .

# Apply ruff
ruff:
  poetry run ruff check . --fix

# Prettify markdown files (use .prettierignore to exclude files)

  npx prettier . --write

Maybe this should be a precommit hook, but I like this set of command as just recipe and wanted to share.
