Link with HostFact 5.1.4

After Git cloning the plugin to public_html/3rdparty/modules/products/vps/integrations/solusvm/ I see the module coming up in HostFact.

When I try to create a new server and enter the server URL (without https) and the API ID and Key I get no connection. I also tried the username and password of the Master login of SolusVM and I tried different connection URLs like:

• /admincp/api.php
• /admincp/
• /
• /api/admin/command.php
• /api/
• /api/admin/

What credentials do I need to use to set up the connection with SolusVM ?

Hi,

The URL should be something like https://solusvm:5656/api/admin.

Do you have a specific error for me maybe? What happens when you put a var_dump($data); on line 54 in SolusVM.php?

Hi,

I used the URL as mentioned (changed soluvm of course to our master hostname) and tried it with API ID and API Key and the Username and Password but still no luck:

I receive the error:
Foutmelding • Kon de API voor de koppeling met de server niet vinden • Kan geen verbinding maken met de server • Kon de API voor de koppeling met de server niet vinden

I added the var_dump to line 54 but I don't see any dump data when adding this in Hostfact or in the error logs...

Of course the firewall is open on both ends and are trusted. In SolusVM, I don't see any entry in the API Log or Authentication log which is weird.

I have uploaded this script https://docs.solusvm.com/display/DOCS/Examples to the root of our HostFact installation and when I run that file I do have a connection and see the entry in the log. I am using the same ID and Key and URL for the PHP file and HostFact.
