Using Github milestones for tracking meta-release process

Github has the milestones feature.
It can be used beside labels to monitor release process.
We can check how it works in Commonalities first.

I have seen OpenAPI uses it in their Github.

Me too - I'm trying it in Simple Edge Discovery, defining milestones M0 / M1 / M2 /M3 using the descriptions from Release Management. Each issue is tagged to a Milestone.
