Description
Is your proposal related to a problem?
Yes, a User Experience issue.
In terms of User Experience, when a booker uses a scheduling link and is booking on behalf of someone else in a different timezone, it is a bit frustrating and time-consuming trying to find the right timezone in the long list of total timezones. More than half of my bookings are referrals (user booking for another person) that could be in any US timezone. I imagine this issue also arises with VPN users.
Describe the solution you'd like
Perhaps the only feature I prefer on a competitor's booking UI is the groupings of timezones on the booking page dropdown list. In the US, the first subset of timezones listed are just US timezones (with all the other time zones listed below the first group). This allows for a quick selection and frictionless user experience. I assume in other regions of the world, the first group that is displayed is the local region. This grouping concept would be an improvement in User Experience.
Alternatively, my request is simply for a new setting in the Event Types that allows the displayed timezones to be limited to a subset, multi-select. The default setting could be All timezones. Or, if the filter is turned on, then each timezone could be selected for display or hide.
