SmartHome device list unavailable

Been working great for years, but now cannot retrieve the SmartHome device list from Alexa (shows ???), breaking all SmartHome command nodes. Speak and Routine continue to work, so the connection to the Alexa account is still working. May be a breaking api change by Alexa in the last 2 days.

Thanks for confirming. It appears this is unlikely to be fixed due to Amazon deprecating the api, and we should get on with finding alternative solutions. My smart home evolution probably reached peak complexity 2 years ago, and since then a series of breaking changes has led me to keep reducing the complexity and inter-dependence of my setup as it has become clear that it is not sustainable in the current environment. So in this case I'll probably re-invent half of what broke and toss the rest.

I was using this as easiest free integration for home automation from couple of brands. Now migrating to node-red-contrib-google-smarthome which has more solid support, but involves full https domain presence which I had already anyway just avoided the faff

Smart home devices are no longer available to trigger, but I got around it by creating routines, and triggering the routine.

Now the routines have stopped triggering

Thanks to great work of alexa-remote2 dev who connected different Alexa API large part of broken functionality has been already restored in new releases. There is some functionality restored still pending integration in applestruddel module. So hopefully Alexa integration will continue being available in foreseeable time
