… Hi @cagnulein <https://github.com/cagnulein>,
I'm currently running this setup:
- QZ on iPhone (v2.19.2)
- Wahoo KICKR Core as the smart trainer
- Zwift Click for virtual shifting
- Zwift Cog (installed)
- myWhoosh on MacBook Pro
Here's what I'm seeing:
1. I start by connecting QZ on my iPhone to the KICKR Core — works
fine.
2. Then I connect Zwift Click to QZ for virtual shifting — I see gear
changes in the QZ UI.
3. However, changing gears does not change resistance on the KICKR
Core.
Any ideas why resistance isn’t changing with virtual shifts via QZ, even
though gear changes appear correctly?
Thanks in advance!

I've identified the issue — my Garmin Forerunner 570 watch was also connected to the trainer and was controlling the resistance. What would be the correct setup if I want to follow a structured workout from my watch, but still use virtual shifting via QZ? |

Unfortunately so it's not possible. You can consider to buy an old and
cheap android device for this.i have a xiaomi mi3 with ant+
I guess it's just 10$ on ebay :)

What if my trainer is connected to both QZ and my Garmin watch, but QZ and the watch aren’t connected to each other? |

Unfortunately garmin accepts one sensor from a device so or power or
speed.if you want qz can send speed only but you will lose power that it's
more important on indoor rides

… You're right — that was my mistake. My Forerunner does read both cadence
and power correctly.
However, it's still not showing speed or distance, likely because I
haven't set the wheel size.
According to this Garmin support page
<https://support.garmin.com/lv-LV/?faq=aXLw3909O4031Yv7zjcw47>, wheel
size settings seem to be tied to a speed sensor, not a power sensor.
Is there another way to configure the wheel size?

Hi, quick question — if I export a profile on macOS, where is it saved? |
