Magene Gravat2 bike trainer compatibility

I've been using this bike trainer reliably with Zwift and lately with mywhoosh. Wanting to use the virtual gear with a remote bluetooh multimedia volume button, I hit a wall since QZ "does not detect" my bike trainer. It detects other equipment like favaro duo, polar heart rate or cadence sensor but not the bike trainer.
Has anybody been able to connect this bike trainer to qz or is not compatible?

@hpcolus Install the free app nrfconnect and show me a screenshot of your bike there so I will be able to address your issue

Google is very slow in these days, reviewing the app on the store, even the beta ones. For this reason, in order to check right now if the patch that I did is right, you can use the android build in the link (check at the bottom of the page in about 1 hour). In order to test it you need first to remove the current QZ version on your phone, install the one that you downloaded.
This version is a 15 minutes trial (you can restart it as many times as you want) and I can unlock it if you want, send me an email to roberto.viola83@gmail.com mentioning this ticket and that you are on android.

@cagnulein Succes conecting to Magene Gravat2 (LG phone Android 9)! and using Mywhosh with qz.

1. Not able to connect with latest Google pixel tablet. It complains about location and bluetooth permisson, despite that it says in app permissons that location and ability to connect bluetooth is granted.
2. Virtual gear in mywhosh does not change using Qz. On Qz i connected a remote multimedia button attached to the bike's handle and paired it with the phone. Change in 'volume' changes gear number in qz. Big button gears also change qz gear number. However, the virtual gear number in mywhoosh does not change.

A reason for not able to use it with latest Google pixel tablet and Android 14? for the virtual gear any settings I am missing to modify?

1. Did you enable the GPS on the tablet? This is mandatory on android for searching Bluetooth devices (I know it's strange but it how's android works)
2. Yes it's normal virtual gear with Mywhoosh works only on qz. Mywhoosh doesn't add a way to send or receive gears value as zwift does. So simply disable it on mywhoosh and use only on Qz
