Dear authors,
I think there is an error in chapter 9 on page 183 in your fantastic book. You define the aerodynamic forces in the wind frame as F = [-D, -Y, -L]. And then you transform the trust from body to wind. And then you correct by roll angle. But isn't that wrong? Should you convert the aero-forces from wind to body (so the alpha an beta terms go onto D, Y and L instead)? As it is now, you assume that the roll axis is in the same direction as the v-vector, which I think is wrong - Although if alpha and beta are very small, the error is also fairly small.
