Is it possible to enable the event loop with the dynamic linking plugin?

I've been trying out javy - one thing I couldn't figure out is why the -J event-loop flag wasn't working. I discovered that if you try to use it with the dynamic linking setup it doesn't work. Am I doing something wrong?

You need to write your own Javy plugin to enable the event loop for dynamic linking.

The reason is the default plugin has the event loop disabled and a dynamically linked module can't change the plugin's runtime configuration. Basically the module is just sending QuickJS bytecode to the plugin's pre-initialized runtime to execute. Because the runtime is already initialized when the plugin is instantiated, the configuration can't be changed.
