Meerkat can't find my videos

I get this error when try to run DeepMeerkat:

ValueError: No videos in the supplied folder. If videos exist, ensure that they can be read by standard video CODEC libraries.
DeepMeerkat failed while running

videos are in .avi format and open normally.
I'm using a macOS Monterrey.
