Bottom Bar with ModalBottomSheetLayout

I haven't found any implementation or solution for a ModalBottomSheetLayout on a parent node that has different children,
i tried implementing something lie this but i came across an issue, the bottom sheet is triggered from a child node and it cant stay above the parent node, any idea how i can go around this? here's a screenshot

the bottom sheet is being triggered by a child, but i need the bottom sheet to overlay the bottom bar,
