Hi, does this application share the same functionality as auto-py-to-exe as it currently is or is this a POC?

I'm aware that something like tkinter can be used but it can be more difficult than web technologies when it comes to non-basic interfaces.

my reason for doing this was out of frustration as i know html applications work well but it was annoying me that it could be a native application so once i made it i posted it with full credits or at least i hope so

I understand why you would think this way. auto-py-to-exe could have been a tkinter app, but I have always been under the impression that getting things looking nice in tkinter is a bit of a struggle. I have used PyQt5 before and that's a bit better, but I am still in favour of web technologies.

HTML/CSS make layouts very easy and [pretty much] every machine this will run on will have a browser.

Recently, I have re-witnessed the crimes I wrote back in the day in terms of the JavaScript for this project. I was thinking React would be a nice replacement due to how functional components would make it much more clear where data and controls are flowing. I have been on the fence about this move though as I think it might be an unfortunate move to need to build the frontend just to run this app.
