md_to_xlsx: Regarding Numeric Output

Hi,
When saving in Excel, the numbers end up being stored as "text". In the attached image, they seem to be saved as numeric values — is there a particular setting for this?

Yes. Currently, all the cell values are enforced with string transformation in (ef11847), as reported decimal precision loss in #73 in gerneral cases of display of Microsoft Excel.

Is it an option for controlling whether to enable the string transformation something that you want?

I’d like an option to choose whether numbers are stored as text or as numeric values. It would be perfect if this could be set per column.
