The script doesn't keep track of what files have been downloaded. Every time you start a download, it will look to see what's on iCloud and attempt to download it. If a file already exists, it will skip over it if it appears to be the same file. If the files were not there, because the share has been pointed elsewhere but the files were not copied over, then it will re-download the missing files. You can test this out by deleting files and it will re-download them on the next scheduled download run. |

I recently reinstalled and midway through the first sync, I saw a bunch of errors that I was out of space on /home/user/iCloud. Turns out my share was misconfigured, and when I restarted, it seems to have picked up where it had stopped, but missed the skipped photos (about 3.5 months' worth).
Pre-reinstall:
3645 directories, 29647 files
New Run:
3451 directories, 25020 files
I tried the single pass option, but that didn't seem to have any effect. I know I could start over again, but hoping there's something I missed in the documentation that could fix the situation.
