Glitchy with very large text

Hi if you use very large text with this it sometimes stops showing the text for a brief moment in chrome. https://svelte.dev/repl/4a9c88a2ce324baf9eac15f9f7ce3ea9?version=3.38.3
It is hard to demonstrate in the repl with the small area. If you select some text while it's sliding and wait a minute and just generally mess with it for a little while in that repl you should be able to reproduce the issue. Thanks!
