Yes, this is a false positive. This is caused by the way the WinAPI is used to access the subwindow to hide the ad area.

There have been reports of the same issue like #85 and #88, but it is unlikely to be resolved without changing the way ads are removed.

I contacted the virus engine vendors for the #88(2.1.4), and some vendors have resolved the false positive issue, but many have not responded or have not resolved it. Windows Defender is one of the vendors that has not responded to the false positives, and I am not actively addressing this issue at this time.
