RSS calendar compatibility

Hello,
Sadly, a lot of website with a calendar only have the option to get an RSS feed.
I've looked for a reliable way to convert them into an .ics link but the only option available are a "one time conversion" like https://www.rsstocal.com/ or https://www.rochester.edu/registrar/feeds/rss2ical.php, and other solutions involve having a zapier account and a google account.

Would it be possible to integrate this type of conversion directly into icsx5 ?

Interesting, but out of scope and way too big of a project for ICSx5 at the moment. We'd probably not have the time to write the conversion library ourselves and (just out of curiosity) I could not seem to find a library we could use which does that already.

So, possible - yes, but probably not going to happen in the coming years.

ICSx⁵ is very nice and matches perfect to etar and its missing ics-compatibilty.

now i can refuse on huawei calender and just insert the link of ics into ICSx⁵
