I am currently looking for someone who would be interested in becoming the official maintainer of the package. Advanced skill in R or previous package development experience is not necessary. I will be able to help out with code review, etc.

I am interested. I have been doing internal package development at my current job but would be interested in developing the skillset further for CRAN-worthy packages. I would be happy to discuss further and understand that the time-demands might look like.
