Something wrong with map()?

I could open an issue, but... I don't want to give this a sense of urgency, because I feel like @berinhard has other priorities right now.

example

a = [1, 2, 4, 6]

    b = map(lambda n: n* 2, a)   # problem here
    for x in a:
        ellipse(x * 20, 100, 100)

The only online example list using map() I've found was this 1 for both Transcrypt & Pyodide:

Both versions are working for me though.
Although they're using the p5js signature call instead of Python's.
