Additional context
I did pip install mutagen, but it still report the error. Anywhere I can find the doc for libs beeware support or unsupport? Or instruction for me to make beeware support?

I'm guessing you've installed mutagen locally (i.e., with pip), but you haven't added it to the list of packages in requires in your pyproject.toml. Briefcase creates a completely standalone environment; you need to build an explicit list of packages that you want to be included in your app.

Once you've added your required packages to pyproject.toml, run briefcase update -d to update dependencies, then rebuild and re-run.

Thanks a lot! I tried and no error report but pygame. I was trying to import its mixer. It would be great if you could provide suggestion for the multimedia (pysdl2,pysdl2-dll? or sdl2 mixer?) module I can use in android.

Unfortunately, support for libraries like pygame require a very tight integration with the operating system, and BeeWare isn't currently in a position to provide that support on mobile platforms. The same is true of any library that requires binary library support.

If you want to access multimedia libraries, the only approach that works at present is to use the platform native multimedia APIs (i.e, the ones that you would use if you were writing your Android app in Java or Kotlin), but access them using the Rubicon layer that BeeWare provides. Those APIs are very much platform specific - your app will only work on Android, and you'll need to provide a different implementation for iOS, macOS, Windows, etc.

Hi, Dr. Keith-Magee,
Thanks for the advice! Android api should be enough, as I could not make the kivy work either in debian or win for apk, and only make it with beeware. If possible would you further advise on the API I could use like android.mixer? E.g. where I can find doc of the android api beeware support?

I can't advise which Android APIs are the right ones to use, as I'm not an Android expert; however, if there's a documented Android API, you can use it through Rubicon.

Unfortunately, we don't have great documentation for the Android/Java capabilities of Rubicon; the current status is really "learn by example" by looking at the existing Toga Android codebase, and the test suite for Rubicon Java.
