Linking device from QR code failing with "Invalid response from service."

Hello,

I'm exploring the signal-cli-rest-api for one of the projects I'm planning to use Signal for. I could set things up well (thanks to the detailed documentation and help), but am facing an issue when linking the device. I can't seem to get a starting point to approach this. Any help or a pointer will be much appreciated!

Do you see any errors in the log? Which mode are you using?

Linking just worked when I tried to get to the logs to copy them! I'm not sure why it didn't yesterday or did today. I remember I did not see any errors when it didn't link yesterday, except that screenshot on my mobile device that I attached. I wish I could be more helpful here, thanks for your quick response @bbernhard

I'm using the native mode

I think in that case it was most probably related to the Signal Server. Retrying (as you already did) some time later, often makes it work.
