Is there a way to switch streams/sources when signal is detected?

Hi all, I'm wondering something I wasn't able to find any info on.

Like I'm sure many of you, I have a couple of different streams going on ... "default" for playing to using Snap.Net on Windows, "Spotify", "Airplay", and then the ones dynamically created by MusicAssistant.

Let's say last night my friend came for a visit and played something over Spotify. Now it's the morning and I tune into a radio station from my desktop. Before I can hear any sound, I'll have to manually switch from "Spotify" to "default".

Is there a way to have Snapcast server detect that a previously quiet source is now being used, and automatically switch to that source?

Can anyone (@badaix?) at least say if the answer is "no"? Because then this might be worth a feature request.

Have a look here or ask an LLM of your choice to write you script that does want you want
