URGENT: Setting the model to gemini-2.0-flash does not actually set it.

Subject: Setting the model to gemini-2.0-flash does not actually set it.

I have proof of this (in the image below from GCP), you can see it is using gemini-1.5-flash:

I desperately need to use gemini-2.0-flash as it has a 200 RPD (Requests Per Day) limit instead of 50 like in 1.5-flash.

Please fix this ASAP or advise if I am setting the model incorrectly.

I also experienced this issue. After looking deeper into the library, I noticed that the post request towards the API was outdated from the current API documentation. I was able to fix this by changing line 421 in the package:flutter_gemini/src/implement/gemini_implement.dart file within my project.

Note: I followed the error produced from using the deprecated Gemini.textAndImage function after initializing my Gemini.disableAutoUpdateModelName to true, in your case, I would similarly try and change the post request to include the appropriate URL for the method that you are using, they are likely not the same response variable.
