Canvas navigation

Having a nice and intuitive navigation inside the diagram of tables is quite tricky. Technically but not only, knowing which action should be triggered by which control is far from obvious.

We already changed it a few time and here is how it works now:

• scroll actions move the canvas around, if you scroll down, canvas will go down. Same for up, right and left
• ctrl + scroll up or down will zoom in & out, centered on where you have your mouse
• if you drag the gray background, you move the whole canvas, just like the scroll actions
• if you drag a table, it will only drag the table inside the canvas
• the bottom right controls - and + can zoom the canvas, this time centered on the middle or you can choose a predefined zoom level
• on the bottom right controls you also have the "fit" button to adjust your content (centered with correct zoom) to the view

For now it seems quite intuitive but we still miss a few things:

• add a "pinch to zoom" capability in addition to the ctrl + scroll
• handle well touch devices
• add a group selection (ctrl + click and square selector) for group actions like
  • moving all the tables in the same way
  • fit to the selection
• square to zoom
