In the past two weeks, we’ve made:

• Improvements on Axon:
  • Axon will check whether the user-provided genesis matches the current chain (feat(cli): check user provided genesis if not first run #1278)
  • Reduced global variables in Axon Executor (refactor(executor): thread local instead of global variable #1280)
  • Fixed method name of eth_subscribe (fix: eth_subscribe method name #1281)
  • Fixed always success cell initialization (fix: fix always success cell init #1288)
  • Fixed panic and OOM in the modexp precompile (fix(precompile): fix overflow sub #1299, perf: reduce mem cost on modexp #1300)
• Improvements on Spark based on the demo:
  • Tested reward transaction (test: reward tx spark#49)
  • Added log for transaction builder (feat: add log spark#50)
  • Added integration test (feat: add a integration testing case spark#51)

What we are working on:

• A hardfork mechanism so that we can fix issues like The implemention of receipts root in block is incorrect #1258 without breaking existing chains
• Improve error handling (fix: no default values when unexpected errors occurred #1303)
• Testing and completing Spark
• Modeling Axon’s memory consumption
