Missing static methods on Android

Just hit a snag with my Android release.

Only showed up on the Play Store release - bizarrely not captured by Google review... despite crash when selecting a menu item to start game!

Have had to copy the axmol pro guard rules to my main app.

-keep public class dev.axmol.lib.**
-keepclassmembers public class dev.axmol.lib.** { *; }
-dontwarn dev.axmol.**

Before these lines were present in the app proguard-rules.txt template as a copy of the axmol proguard rule files, to avoid this copy a new line in the app build.gradle has been added:

proguardFile file(project(':libaxmol').projectDir.toString() + '/proguard-rules.pro')

maybe you missed it?

I think this is part of the general problem with the Android projects for me, upgrading them after axmol changes is a full time job. :) Again maybe I'm doing something wrong there...

No problem, I was dealing with these proguard rules and didn’t know which lines were really used, so that’s how I ended up doing the PR with this new line
And you’re not the only one to spend time to follow android changes; me too; but let’s be honest I prefer when there are new features and activities than nothing 😌
