WebRTC video can not display when using VP8 in chrome V136 version

Recently we found a problem when we use Google V136 or 137 version, which has graphics acceleration turned on by default, in this case our WebRTC video in VP8 encoded format can't be displayed correctly, the problem doesn't exist in any other browsers, please help us to locate the exact cause of this problem.

When Google's graphic acceleration is turned off, WebRTC video can be displayed normally.

Any update on this? Having the same issue, works when Google's graphic accelaration is turned off but breaks when turned on. We use x264 instead of VP8.

If I'm understanding what you're mentioning, the PeerConnection is established, but the browser cannot play the video. If that's the case, in chrome://webrtc-internals, you should see the media decoding errors graph going up.

To debug this further, you can enable the Chrome debug logs and check for any media decoding logs.

If you're using the test page, please make sure that the "Filter received media types" under Advanced is set correctly.
