I have a software written in C++ running on Android and would like to stream camera frames directly from C/C++ code.
I saw that you have examples for Android written in Java, but that would mean copying video frames between C++ and Java code. I 'm looking for a solution where this could be avoided.
Do you think
https://github.com/awslabs/amazon-kinesis-video-streams-producer-sdk-cpp can be compiled for Android?

We do not test the C nor C++ SDKs on Android, but we have some users report attempts to make work on Android the kvssink GStreamer plugin that lives in that Producer C++ repository. Here is a user reporting some of the issues they ran into while trying to make that work in case it's helpful:

May I ask some more details on your use case such as what C++ camera module/library you are using for capturing media on Android?

Thanks, I spent some time already trying to compile amazon-kinesis-video-streams-webrtc-sdk-c for Android and would rather wait for a successful story to follow :)

And sure, to interface with the camera I am using the camera2ndk api. The whole image processing is done in C++ and there is no need to pass images to the Java side.

I would like to stick to the amazon's backend. Do you think it should be possible to use another WebRTC library like libdatachannel to communicate with it?
