How to return from cloudformation.NewDescribeStackEventsPaginator

Hi, I use cloudformation paginator like this, but I have no idea how to force return if specific condition is met

For a case like below, I want to return the function if e.Status == "xxx", in this condition I don't want to check more pages anymore even if there're still more pages.

        pageNum := 0
	paginator := cloudformation.NewDescribeStackEventsPaginator(client, &params)
	for paginator.HasMorePages() && pageNum <= 15 {
		output, err := paginator.NextPage(ctx)
		if err != nil {
			return err
		}

		for _, e := range output.StackEvents {
			if e.Status == "xxx" {
                                return whole function here, I don't need to check more pages
                        }
                }
                pageNum++
       }

By looking at HasMorePages() function, do I have to set?

p.firstPage = false && p.nextToken == nil

func (p *DescribeStackEventsPaginator) HasMorePages() bool {
	return p.firstPage || (p.nextToken != nil && len(*p.nextToken) != 0)
}
