Can HyperHDR access hdmi out from Pi4 os lite ?

I'm building a diy arcade, and want to use Hyper to light up the back cabinet. I use this program on my main TV (using a USB grabber) and amazed how well it looks.

Is it possible to just grab the internal video, without spitting the hdmi out and grabbing it back with a usb dongle? I tried the Software Screen Capture which only grabs the Terminal kernel text, and not when the RetroPie program actually runs (in KMS).

Still since you probably dont need advanced HDMI2.0 nor HDCP nor HDR features for RetroPi then even cheap $20 ms2131 based grabber with internal splitter may be enough, but I dont know details of your setup.

Yup that is perfect. Not needing HDR / 4k features, just a cheap simple grabber. Thanks again for the awesome software.
