Lenovo Thinkpad T470 20HD stalling on "kernelmanagerd has not checked in" with ECEnabler enabled

The title basically covers my problem:
When I try yto boot MacOS Ventura on my Thinkpad T470, it stops on the message "busy timeout[0-3], (240s): registry root held busy, kernelmanagerd has not checked in".

When I disable ECEnabler in my config.plist file, it boots with no problem, but it's not showing any battery status.
