Hello @avelino, @dukex, @dmitshur, @matrixik, @joeybloggs, @kirillDanshin, @felipeweb, @appleboy, @cassiobotaro, @jtemporal, @ceriath, @panjf2000, @phanirithvij, and @yassinebenaid I’ve submitted Pull Request #5886 which introduces an automated leaderboard generation system powered by GitHub Actions. The PR directly resolves discussion #5885, which proposed adding a contributors’ direct showcase section to the README and automating its updates for better engagement — particularly on GitHub’s mobile app where such sections are more visually noticeable. Kindly review the pull request and share any feedback or suggestions for improvement. Thank you all for your time, feedback, and continued efforts in maintaining this project. |

Description
Currently, this project does not have a Leaderboard section that highlights contributors or community engagement.
Adding a dynamic leaderboard that automatically updates after each merged Pull Request will significantly enhance visibility, motivation, and project appeal — especially on the GitHub mobile app, where visual sections stand out prominently.
Why This Feature Is Important
Proposed Implementation
main(or via manual dispatch).scripts/update-leaderboard.ts) to:apps/web/public/leaderboard.json.README.md.Expected Outcome
leaderboard.json(if there).Additional Notes
This aligns with modern open-source practices — celebrating contributors publicly while leveraging automation.
Once merged, this can also be extended to generate a Contributors Showcase or Top Contributors grid for an even more engaging README.
