Microphone activity indicator

Is it possible to add an indicator on whether my microphone is muted or unmuted to this app? Sometimes I mute my mic and forget I muted it

I like the suggestion, but it comes with a couple of decisions.

I'd prefer to equally support all the currently supported headsets, so I'd need some extra recordings from someone with a Cloud Alpha (and maybe some of the other headsets too). Which headset do you use?

The icons are pretty small so the indicator would have to be subtle. Here's two of my ideas, do you have a preference?

I am using Cloud II Core wireless, and for indicator the 2nd one looks best IMO
